I bought this projector to use at my church in a small room with a lot of sunlight and was shocked at how well it performs. I knew when I bought it, that the price was cheaper but this little projector (and it is very small and light) is worthy every penny (and probably a lot more). It has excellent brightness for its size, and has more features then anyone would expect for such a low priced projector.
It can show both 16:9 as well as 4:3; it can rotate its view to suit wall mounts as well as floor and ceiling mounts. It has digital and natural zoom as well as a host of color correction and brightness adjusting controls for optimum picture performance. From the minute you turn this little guy on you will be amazed at how easy to use it is and it even comes with a free screen and mount if you're willing to pay for the shipping.
Either way if you're looking for a projector with "all the fixins" that won't do damage to your wallet, then you really couldn't find a better one than this.

Just connect and go. Auto reads the input your running into it. Remote with all the features adjustable from it is a big plus if you have it on a hard to get place (which I do). Using as a visual for guests walking into the lobby but is a little dark for it (day light coming in) but for a dark room or area, it is ideal. Great for the price and quality! A-

I was so excited to be able to watch movies during the day time without having to close curtains or anything. This thing is super bright.

I'm using this for watching movies outside in my backyard. It puts out a great picture that is super bright. Even a passing car's headlights didn't wash out the picture while projecting at a friend's house on his wall. It cools down very quickly. My friend works for IBM and he said that this projector easily keeps up with the picture from his $5000 work projector.

Received projector on the expected delivery date (about 1 week) and all necessary components were in the box and easily assembled.
Instructions are included on a slip of paper, and on the included CD, but a sheet with short instructions (there is very little to do other than install cables/cords) would have been nice. Once the XP/Vista/W7 change over debacle is over, this step will quickly go away.
Projector met and exceeded all expectations and has been quite useful in advertising for our business (book store). Only other time I had to look around (on the CD) was to find out how to project a reversed image (for showing through a plexiglas screen). Nothing on the Amazon site explicitely stated that the projector could be mounted upside down or project a regular or reversed image. After sending an email overnight to ViewSonic I quickly got the instructions. This was the first projector the store had used, and so now we have a little more experience in using one.
Image (sharpness and color) and adjustability was superb! Highly recommend use for either home, small business, or even briefing in a large auditorium (image size was shown at over 20' wide with no distortions on a wall in the business.)
